ISB Compass Quest: Xishuangbanna, Yunnan (Dec. 16-23, 2016)

ISB's Compass Quest program invites middle school students to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and acquire L21 skills in a setting that combines fun and experiential learning. In December 2016, 11 middle school students accompanied by two ISB chaperones and two guides from The Hutong traveled to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province. Over the course of a week, students learned about the region's ethnic traditions through homestays experiences in remote villages teeming with Dai, Bulang, and Hani cultures and rich biodiversity.
