Humanities Journal Entry #3 Video

Nastya Ivanov has lost her brother who had taken care of her for her entire life. In her first entry she marched with her brother, who believed the Czar would listen and change. However, after her brother and many other people get shot in Bloody Sunday, she turns against the Czar and vows to seek revenge. In the second entry, she fights with Nadya, her sister about joining the Bolsheviks but in the end realizes that she can’t always protect her sister. She ends up joining the Bolsheviks and supporting the October Revolution. In her last entry (this one), she talks about the death of Lenin and all the things that had happened under his rule. In the end, she fears for the future of Russia. Throughout her journal entry’s she learns how to move on from the death of her brother and works on moving forward.
